Probes

High pressure retrievable process probes are sealed into the system in a Cosasco access fitting. A separate Cosasco service valve and retriever is used for insertion and removal of the probes under system pressures.

CORROSOMETER® probes and instruments determine metal loss from corrosion or erosion by the electrical resistance method. This method may be used in virtually any environment except liquid metals or some conductive molten salts. CORROSOMETER® instruments directly measure the metal loss on ... [more]

All Corrater probes have the economy of replaceable electrodes that double as corrosion coupons, providing a significant advantage over other electrochemical and electrochemical noise probe designs with fixed electrodes. The average corrosion rate of the electrode, determined as coupon, is ... [more]
Erosion
Erosion
Sand production in oil and gas producing wells can cause rapid erosion and wear of top side equipment such as chokes, valves, and flow-lines. In addition, it may cause serious formation damage. Rapid detection and remediation of sand producing/erosion episodes is necessary to prevent short-term ... [more]
