Systems Engineer – Santa Fe Springs, CA. USA

Cosasco, a world leader in corrosion monitoring equipment and techniques, is currently seeking a Systems Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.  Cosasco products are used globally, and include intrusive and non-intrusive sensors and instrumentation systems for corrosion monitoring, valves, and specialized tools for inserting and retrieving sensors in a variety of processes whilst under pressure, and more.  Cosasco is a fast growing, highly entrepreneurial company, which is looking for a Systems Engineer with the following characteristics and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or IT
  • Knowledge of Industrial Communications including Modbus, Serial, WirelessHART, ISA100, OPC
  • Knowledge of designing systems for hazardous areas including CSA/UL, Atex and IECEx
  • Knowledge of Networking and Data Security
  • Electrical manufacturing experience would be an advantage
  • Instrumentation Engineering experience would be an advantage
  • Team Player, result oriented with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a cross functional development team
The Systems Engineer will report directly to the VP of Engineering.  Duties will include:
  • Undertaking all aspects of systems engineering work from customer specification through to implementation, documentation and support
  • System setup, configuration, installation and commissioning
  • Generating and developing ideas for new products and applications
  • Providing international technical support to manufacturing, Cosasco personnel and customers
  • Investigating alternative products and manufacturing processes to improve quality, performance and efficiency
  • Design and implement testing procedures for new and existing products
  • Prototyping, assembly and testing of new products
  • Process improvement
  • Due to Cosasco’s global footprint occasional out of hours work or travel may be required

Mechanical Engineer – Santa Fe Springs, CA. USA

Cosasco, a world leader in corrosion monitoring equipment and techniques, is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.  Cosasco products are used globally, and include intrusive and non-intrusive sensors and instrumentation for corrosion monitoring, valves, and specialized tools for inserting and retrieving sensors in a variety of processes whilst under pressure, and more.  Cosasco is a fast growing, highly entrepreneurial company, which is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the following characteristics and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Advanced degree preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry standards/codes including ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel, ASME section IX, NACE MR0175/MR0103, PED, Welding, IECEx, Atex, CSA, and UL
  • Knowledge of Flow and Flow induced vibration analysis within process pipework
  • Experience with 3D digital prototyping, modeling and documentation using Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience with designing for hazardous areas
  • Team Player, result oriented with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a cross functional development team

  • Design and implement testing procedures for new and existing products
  • Prototyping, assembly and testing of new products
