High Speed Electrical Resistance

Microcor® Probes are an integral component of the new high-resolution Microcor® system, including the Microcor Wireless Transmitter. Special design of the probes provides advanced thermal performance, and reliable operation in all environments including sour service.

Standard Electrical Resistance

Electrical Resistance (ER) probes and instruments determine metal loss from corrosion or erosion by the electrical resistance method. This method may be used in virtually any environment except liquid metals or some conductive molten salts.

Linear Polarization Resistance

LPR probes and instruments provide a direct measure of corrosion rate and a qualitative pitting tendency of metals in electrolytes by the technique of linear polarization resistance.
