A new style of the Model 4605 probe is now available with an even more durable construction and incorporating a connector with shrouded pins to prevent accidental damage. It is recommended for all new installations. This new style incorporates welded shields where required and requires a different probe connecting adaptor (see order details). This high pressure probe can be read by any CORROSOMETER ® corrosion monitoring instrument. The rugged probe body is 316L Stainless Steel or Hastelloy C-276 that, when used as part of a High Pressure Access System withstands working pressures to 6000 PSI (41.3 MPa) and temperatures to +500 ºF (+260 ºC). Wire Loop probes should not be used where pitting corrosion is severe. Probe adaptors are required to make the cable connection to the probe.
