Introduction
Rohrback Cosasco Systems (RCS) has been the world leader in corrosion monitoring since 1950. We offer a wide range of solutions to corrosion problems in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, water treatment, chemical, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical. We design and manufacture corrosion monitoring systems and equipment including instrumentation, probes, coupons, mechanical access systems, and integrated corrosion management servers and software.

History
1950
The founding of Corona Oil Sales and Service Company (COSASCO®).
COSASCO's world-renowned 2" access fitting was introduced, and the first high-pressure
Retriever made its debut.
1953
Development work began on what would ultimately become the Patent CORROSOMETER® product line in 1982. Initial sales of this breakthrough technology took place three years through Magna Instruments.
1957
Stern & Geary publish theory related to CORRATER® development.
1962
The CORRATER® product line was introduced by Magna's Corporation's Instrument Division.
1974
Grant Oil Tool Company becomes part of MASCO Corporation and established COSASCO® products as an international leader in corrosion monitoring with branch office in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and throughout the United States.
1977
The Instrument Division of Magna Corporation becomes Rohrback Instruments.
1984
Rohrback Instruments and COSASCO® merge to form Rohrback Cosasco Systems.
1989
MASCO takes over full ownship of RCS.
Rohrback Cosasco Systems introduces the Integrated Corrosion Monitoring System
(ICMS™ product line) to integrate CORROSOMETER® and CORRATER® technologies.
1994
Masco Corporation retires from energy indstries and RCS is sold to Corrpro.
RCS joins the Corrpro Companies family.
2003
Corrpro sells RCS which Rohrback Cosasco Systems becomes an independent company committed to developing new products, markets and technologies for the corrosion related industry.
2005
Rohrback Cosasco Systems opens a new office in Houston, Texas, USA to provide greater support to its Gulf Coast customers.
2006
Rohrback Cosasco Systems opens a new office in United Kingdom to further expand its worldwide sales and customer service support.
2007
In keeping up with the latest technology, RCS starts development on its new Microcor Wireless Corrosion Transmitter.
2009
Rohrback Cosasco Systems announces the release of the new Microcor Wireless Transmitter for wireless corrosion monitoring in any process environment.
