9000 Plus Portable CORRATER® Corrosion Rate Instrument

The 9000 Plus portable CORRATER® instrument is your answer to quick and easy corrosion rate measurements in water systems, automatically. Simply plug the hand-held, light weight instrument into a CORRATER probe and press the “READ PROBE” key. After the completion of the measurement cycle, the readout will automatically display the corrosion rate in mils per year (MPY) or millimeters per year (mmpy) and the imbalance reading in pitting units. As with its predecessor, the industry standard Model 9000, the 9000 Plus is compatible with all CORRATER two and three electrode probes. And, the user can directly select alloy multipliers so that corrosion rate calculations are not required. The instrument features new integrated circuit technology that improves accuracy, extends the operating range and reduces the instrument to pocket size. This instrument is a must for anyone monitoring and chemically treating water systems. The environmentally sealed front panel of the instrument is easy to use with only six keys. An easy to read LCD display and the automatic shutdown feature provides long battery life from a standard ninevolt battery. The last reading taken is stored for review the next time the unit is turned on.
